About Nancy
Actor, Voice Artist, Storyteller
The Story
Nancy Sokerka trained at the Theatre School at DePaul University and has been a fixture of the Chicago theatre scene for over twelve years. Her background spans classical drama, contemporary comedy, physical theatre, and commercial work.
On screen, Nancy brings the same depth and specificity she developed on stage — she is known among directors for her preparation, her instinct for finding the unexpected moment, and her ability to hold vulnerability without sentimentality.
As a voice artist, she brings warmth and authority to corporate narration, audiobooks, e-learning, and advertising — working with studios in Chicago, New York, and remotely.
